Grandma's Pool

Living in Indiana, our outdoor public pools are only open for about 3 months (yes, 3 months) of the year. So, our kids tend to be a little fearful when it comes to swimming- we just don't go very often. Oh my goodness, we were spoiled to have a pool available anytime we wanted at Grandma and Grandpa's house! We got to go swimming several times. It was so fun watching our two kiddos go from super scared in the water to jumping in and swimming (with floaties) all by themselves!

Garrett wasn't quite sure what he thought about this swimming thing!

Tori and Grandma had some very important chats- so cute! 

Splashing and kicking feet is a good place to start!

Tori would get in on one side of the pool and swim all the way across by herself- she was so proud of what she could do!!!

Garrett did not like people swimming underneath him!

We should have turned him over to Uncle Douglas much sooner!

Douglas had him kicking his feet, putting his face in the water, and blowing bubbles in no time!

Hurrah for Uncles- they can get your kids to do stuff they would never do with you!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in Grandma's pool!!!
