Jumping Through July

July was over as soon as it started- or so it seemed! We've had a month of super fun events and activities! Here are a few more pictures of some of the smaller moments this month!
After we got home from our trip, these two were so tired. It was nice to take a day or two and relax back into things!
Jared is a very patient Daddy- Tori, Conner (our next door neighbor), and Garrett love playing "horsie!"
Just a bit of fancy hair for church!
This guy is a stud- especially in his vest and purple tie!
And this girl is just beautiful inside and out!
All ready for our traditional Sunday night family movie!!!
It always makes me nervous when Garrett sneaks away and it's really quiet. This time, he was secretly playing Tori's Nabi!
Stickers...
...stickers everywhere!
Garrett is getting to be a big kid and likes to put his plate in the sink when he's done eating. He's getting closer every time!
Story time with Daddy is the best!!!
Garrett decided we should have 2 cans of corn for lunch- yummy!
These two are crazy, and I love them to pieces, and yes, they were licking the window!
If you are cold, two hats are way better than one!
Sometimes, church can just wear us out!
My little laundry monster!
Thumbs up dude!!!
Garrett loves going to the park! His main reason- he gets to find, and typically throw, lots of rocks!!!
This kid seems to be growing up really fast right now!
Always something new to try!
All comfy and cozy for breakfast!
Tori has been teaching Garrett how to climb higher on the jungle gym- I love it!!!
Thanks for all the fun times July- and now on to August!!!

Splash Pad Ward Activity

This has been a week full of fun activities, and tonight was no exception! We got to join with the rest of our Ward in an activity at the splash pad at Karst Park!
Tori had fun figuring out how this worked!
I was a bit amazed that these two actually got wet! (At least a little!)
Garrett loved playing with this- it was the perfect level for him!
And then we also had to play at the playground!
Yay for climbing walls!
And some rocks to climb on!
Look who was playing with his shadow! (Love the look on his face!)
Ah, Garrett laid down to get all cozy!
Brother Hill was amazing and spent the entire evening making balloon objects for all the kids! It was so neat to watch him. Tori and Garrett loved their flowers!!!
Hurrah for another wonderful activity!!!

Cub Scout/Activity Day Activity

Tonight Tori, Garrett, and I got to attend a summer party with the Cub/EYO Scouts and Activity Day girls in our ward!
The swing set was a huge hit from the start!
Garrett loved the climbing wall!
Tori made sure to show him the ropes!
Tori and Garrett weren't too excited about the idea of actually going down the slip n' slide. But Garrett loved running the hose!
And Tori was okay skating down the slide!
Garrett did a great job keeping the water coming!!!
Right after dinner it started to rain, so the party moved inside for a bit. Luckily, we were able to finish up the night with a huge water balloon fight! Tori and Garrett were armed and ready- and so sad when their balloons broke!
Hurrah for a fun night with some of our Primary friends!!!

BUGS Gym

This afternoon, Tori and Garrett got to join their friends Charlie and Sumner at BUGS gym for their bring a friend to gymnastics day!
Tori looked adorable in her leotard!
And loved all the new things she learned!
So sad this is blurry, but she did a great job on the trampoline!
And this little boy was in heaven! Garrett loved the ball pit!!!
He had so much fun figuring out all the fun new things to climb on!
Above all, he picked everything up so quickly. At the end of the class, the teacher commented that he was doing the skills just as well as the other kids that had been in class for 8 weeks!
Gymnastics lessons are definitely going on our dream board!

Gardening in July

Since we were in Texas for the first part of the month, we only had two gardening days in July.  For our first one, we learned some new recipes to make with things we are growing in our gardens!
We had the assignment to gather herbs to add into veggie dip!
You must have carrots to go along with your veggie dip!
Garrett was just interested in watering things!
Trying some beet sorbet popsicles!
The both loved them- for the first lick and then they were done! And I don't blame you at all- they were gross!
These two were so excited to take home some beautiful flowers!!!
For our second day, we learned about Fall gardens and got to plan some new seeds! The favorite part?
Watering, of course!!!
We love our garden!!!
