May Memories

This month has seemed to fly by, we have been so busy. But, we have also had so much fun! I love watching Tori learn and grow. It seems as if she is doing new things almost every day. Hope you enjoy some of our fun pictures and videos from May!!! Tori had mac n' cheese for the first time...I think she liked it - or at least she liked playing with it!!!
Tori is still not crawling, but she is so close!

This is probably way delayed, but we finally brushed Tori's teeth for the first time!
And (who would have thought) she totally loved it!!!
Tori and Daddy are best buddies!!!
Tori has recently discovered how much fun it is to play with mirrors. I think she could be entertained all day long!
It's amazing how the most simple things can bring such great pleasure!!!
Here is our little lady - I love it when she sits like this, so proper!
Yeah - a Mommy and Tori picture!!!
Peek-a-boo!!!
Beginning to dance!!!
I think she really enjoyed this meal! What do you think?
Such a sweet smile...
with just a hint of mischief!
Tori loves to play with her Daddy, and has decided to add golfing to their list of activities!

Today was such a lovely day that we took some toys outside to play and soak it all in!

The pool is still a little too cold for Tori, so we had our own water fun!!!

Happy May to everyone, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!!!
(P.S. - Tori is doing great and is completely over her RSV!!!)

Oh, the places you'll go!

We know that eventually Tori will figure out how to move forward. However, that hasn't happened yet. But, she is getting really great at getting herself into some crazy places just by moving backwards and in circles!
How she got in between the chair and the bookshelf is beyond me!
Tori ended up getting herself stuck under the couch...
and under her swing...
and under her bouncer chair!
She had a great time under there until she tried to get out- not so fun!!!
Tori sure knows how to keep us on our toes - and we know it's only going to get worse. I guess we should be glad that she is working us in slowly!!!

Playin' in the Rain...

This evening we had a rain storm - which we get pretty often here in Indiana. However, this one was very special. It marked the first time Tori got to play in the rain!!! Knowing how much our baby girl loves the water, we figured she would have a great time - and we were right!
I love that she wanted to not only be out in the rain, but touch it as well.
This is one happy little girl!
Oh, how she loves the rain!!!

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety Jig

Tori and I headed for Indy this afternoon. Just like on the way out, Tori did great on all of the flights. The two of us had some time to kill in Denver, so we decided to share some fries. I'm not sure what Tori thought of them at first.
But once she finally tried them...
They were a big hit!!!
As we were nearing the end of our flight to Indy, Tori started coughing. It wasn't too bad a first, but then it just kept getting deeper and deeper. By the time Jared picked us up, Tori sounded awful - her RSV cough and wheezing were back. I know this might sound crazy, but we feel really blessed. Tori has had a runny nose all week long, but that's it. She didn't get really sick until we were home where we had everything for her breathing treatments. And we already have an appointment set up to see her doctor in the morning!

Utah - our Ultimate Vacation

Jared, Tori, and I had such a great time in Utah. Here are a few of our fun pictures we gathered along the way!!!
Tori still is only moving backwards - she gets herself into some interesting predicaments!
Tori absolutely loved playing with Grandpa and Nana's alphabet toys in the tub!
Yep - pure heaven!
T is for Tori - the T ended up going many places with her!!!
Everyone was thoroughly entertained by the concert Anna gave -totally awesome!!!
Chillin' with Daddy!
Sometimes a girl just has to get down to business!
Tori really wasn't sure about Lizzy at first - but soon had a great time playing with her!
My Stud Muffin - mwah!!!
Tori is so close to crawling - and I love watching her try!!!
Can you tell that Tori loves her puffs?
Our trip to Utah was so wonderful - there really is nothing like going home!!!

Nice to Meet You!

It has been such a neat experience having Tori meet the rest of my family. And in true Tori-fashion, she has taken to everyone right off of the bat!
Tori loved spending so much time with Grandpa and Nana Harrison!
And I loved watching my Dad melt over our little girl- so cute!
Uncle Jer and Aunt Kim were definitely some of Tori's favorites!
Uncle Jer was a little concerned that Tori wouldn't like him - I don't think he needed to worry at all!
They quickly became fast friends!!!
Tori had a great time with Uncle Willie, Aunt Krista, and her cousins Parker and Lincoln!!! We all loved being able to stay in the same place - so many fun times!
Tori met her Aunt Terrah and Uncle Jake the first night we were in town - they were like three peas in a pod!
Jake and Terrah - I'm so sorry that this is such a sad picture (it's the only one I have with all three of you together) - I think we need a redo when we come for Christmas!!!
Tori also got to meet her Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Harrison!
Even though they weren't first meetings - Tori had such a great time catching up with Grandma Harrison
and her fabulous Aunt Anna!!!
Yeah for family - there is nothing better!!!

Wedding Bells!

The definite highlight of our visit to Utah was being able to join in all of the wedding celebrations with Terrah and Jake. They had a fabulous (and well attended) ice cream social last night. And then they were married in the Logan temple this morning. The ceremony was so beautiful and the promised blessings so incredible. I think that my most favorite moment from today was watching Terrah and Jake kneel across the altar from one another. I have never seen such a look of pure love pass between two people - I will remember that sweet look forever! Terrah and Jake - we are so excited for you and the next chapter in your lives together!!!
Here are the happy couple as they came out of the temple!!!
Terrah and Jake were definitely surrounded by lots of family and friends today!
Oh how I love my little sisters!!!
Terrah and Jake chose green, brown, and yellow as their wedding colors. We had a great time supporting those colors (and it was great having a few family photos taken!)!!!
This one is from today...
And this one is from the ice cream social last night!
Here is the happy couple, driving off into the sunset together!
I think the mothers enjoyed all of the festivities!!!
Terrah and Jake - we love you both so much and are so glad we could share in your amazing day!!!
