DIY-ers

For the past month-ish, we have been getting our house ready to sell. We realized that all of those little "oh, we'll get to that when we have the time" projects really added up over the past three years. So, we have been tackling our list with a vengeance and are finally ready to put our home on the market!!! Here are a few of the things we have been up to:
In one of my weaker moments, I let Tori help me paint! In about two seconds she had paint all over her clothes! This was a one time deal!!!
One of Jared's first projects was to fix a damaged wall in our bathroom. He did an amazing job- Grandpa Jones would be so proud!!!
The night Jared and I painted the kids' room, they got to have a slumber party in the playroom!
Prince really enjoyed having Tori's bedding on the floor in the loft- pretty comfy!
Tori and Garrett were a huge help getting all of the painting tape off the walls!
I'm pretty proud of this! We were trying to figure out how to paint the edges over the stairwell. Our neighbors let us borrow this board thing that went out over the stairs- it was so rickety! So, I came up with this- a paintbrush taped onto a wooden dowel. It worked fabulously!!!
Our last big project was to replace our kitchen sink and faucet! Our new Home Teacher (thanks so much Jamison) came over to help Jared out!
And it turned out soooooo nice!!!
Right off the bat, Jared wanted to keep all the paint tape to see how much we would end up using. Tori and Garrett thought it was great fun to play with...
...especially since it just kept getting bigger and bigger!
Atlas, with the weight of our paint ball on his shoulders! Wait, not anymore because we are done!!!
Now on to selling out house! We're pretty nervous about the whole process. But, also excited for our house to sell and get on to our next adventure in Bloomington- Jared will be starting his PhD at IU at the end of the month!!!
