Logan Canyon River Trail

This afternoon Tori and I, along with Willie, Krista, Parker, Lincoln, Henry, Caroline, Anna, and London, went up Logan Canyon to check out the Stokes Nature Center.  Garrett has croup, so he and Jared stayed back at Grandma's house for some much needed naps. Sadly, the nature center was already closed by the time we got there, but we were still able to do a hike along the Logan River.  The hike started out nice and shady, which ended very quickly- the river trail title was highly misleading as well. The rest of the hike was ridiculously hot, but the kids didn't seem to mind at all. And, of course, it was nice being up the canyon and enjoying the beautiful scenery!
Tori, Henry (love the hat), and Parker checking out the river!
London always has the cutest shoes, but her pair today are my absolute favorite! Want to know why? Watch this adorable video!!! (Yeah for our fun hiking crew!)
Hurrah for Tori- the awesome hiker!!!
Tori made sure to "sweep" the dirt a bit as well!
Anna and London made it to the end!
Mommy and Tori!
The Harrison gang: Lincoln, Parker, Henry, Willie, Caroline and Krista!
At the end of the hike, we finally found some more shade and the river to play in!  The kids had a great time throwing rocks in the river! I love Tori's wind up and sound effects!!!
What a fabulous pose!
London is so adorable!!!
Chatting it up on the way back!
Even though it was really hot, our hike was still a lot of fun! I miss being surrounded by fun places to hike. I love taking advantage of that when we come home to visit!!!
