Indian Creek Falls

Today we hiked to the Indian Creek and Tom Branch Falls!  In reality, it was just one hike to both of them.  But in order to post more fun pictures and videos, I'm splitting the falls up into two posts!  So, since Tori tuckered out yesterday and had to be carried the last half of the hike and all the way back to our campsite, we decided to switch things up a bit today.  I had Garrett and Jared got to be in charge of Tori! 

Here we are at the first of the hike- so beautiful here!!!

Once again, Tori took off at a dead run- this is how far ahead of us she got!

I just love this picture!  It seems as if we are working up the courage to conquer some huge feat.  Look at that determination on Jared's and Willie's faces- we were going to make it!!!

The Indian Creek Falls were so beautiful- but the water was ridiculously cold! Jared and Willie decided they wanted to get in!

And then they decided they wanted to go all the way under!

After a few minutes (about 10!!!) Jared had worked up his courage!!!

And then came Jared's dunk in the Deep Creek!!!

Sweet victory!!!

While Jared and Willie were dunking in the river, Krista and I had the kids in a shallower section.  Parker and Lincoln were loving the water!  Tori stuck one little toe in, realized how cold it was, and then she was done getting in.  After that this was about as much as Tori would do with the cold water!

Parker and Lincoln decided they wanted to take a dunk as well!  Neither one of them went all the way under, but they had fun getting into the water a little more- so fun watching these 4 boys!!!
