Garrett's 1st Birthday!!!

Garrett's first birthday celebrations actually started last week when he (and Tori) received a package from Grandma and Grandpa Allen!  Since Garrett wasn't too concerned about opening his presents, Tori was more than excited to 'help' him open his gifts!  I finally told her she had to at least be sitting by him when she opened them up!

She was very excited to find a few fun things for her as well!!!

We had Garrett's birthday party on Sunday (the 7th).  Garrett looked so handsome in his first birthday outfit (thanks so much Grandma and Grandpa Allen)!  He had so much fun playing with his little friends Robbie (whom I sadly didn't get a picture of) and Cora!

Oh yeah- he knew we were all gathered to party with him!

I'm not sure Garrett knew what to think about our Happy Birthday singing! 

Hmmmm- he started out a little cautiously!

Wow, this is pretty good!

Then Garrett proceeded to pick up his entire cupcake and try to eat the whole thing at once!!!

Touchdown! 

Garrett successfully demolished and devoured his 1 year cupcake!!!

Kathy, Jim, and Lilly Marrs were so nice and brought Garrett some fun gifts!  He has been playing with his awesome new toys ever since!

And they also brought something fun for Tori as well!  Tori loved having Lilly help her open her gift!  Thank you so much Marrs family for once again spoiling our kids- we love you all!!!

As for today (Garrett's actual birthday)- we have been enjoying Garrett's favorite foods- so we have had toast, Ramen noodles, bananas, cheese, peaches, and homemade mac n' cheese!  Tonight he got to open tons of gifts from all of our family!  Garrett was much more into the present-opening thing today!

 Prince wanted to help out, too!

He had a grand time playing with his new toys! 

I think Daddy was enjoying this one as much (or more) as Garrett was!!!

Thanks for the fun present Uncle Jer, Aunt Kim, and London- he has been cuddling with Spot all night long!

We are so blessed to have Garrett as part of our family!  We love watching him learn and grow!  And we love watching him and Tori become better friends and closer to one another day by day!  Happy Birthday Little Man- we love you oh so very much!!!
