Children's Museum of Houston

One of Grandma and Grandpa Allen's goals for this week is to have as much cousin bonding time as possible! To help in achieving that goal, they found a fabulous thing called a City Pass. Basically, one price to visit several venues in the Houston area over 9 days- perfect! So today we started discovering Houston by visiting the Children's Museum of Houston!
Our faithful navigator made sure we got a map and helped us find our way!
Our first stop was 'Kidtropolis'- an entire city run by the kids! They each got to work in various locations and occupations and even got a paycheck from each one! Our first stop was the post office- Tori did a great job running the computer, along with weighing and stacking packages, and making sure to collect mail from the mailbox!
Our next stop was the emergency response area- Linken, Grayson, and Garrett headed straight for the police car!!!
Tori went right to work taking care of her patient!
And the three boys ended up driving the ambulance, too!
Next, we made a stop at the Cafe! Grandma, Grandpa, Jared, and I sat down at a table while the kids took great care of our culinary need! Check out this fabulous kitchen!
Linken made sure we had plenty of food with each delivery!
Garrett just brought us an entire bin of food!
Our next stop was the grocery store. Tori did a great job filling her basket!
Grayson and Garrett were shopping buddies!!!
The Vet Office was so excited to get some much needed help! Tori took great care of this hamster!
Garrett made sure these kitties were also well cared for!
Our last stop in Kidtropolis was the Art School (I love that art was part of their city!) Grayson and Garrett created some awesome chalk art!
Linken and Tori's paintings proved they are natural artists!!!
Grayson's masterpiece was fantastic!
Garrett's offering wasn't too shabby either!
Finishing up with Kidtropolis, we stepped outside to see what there was to discover. We found an awesome attraction to satisfy the climber in our little boy!!!
Love this- definitely some positive cousin bonding going on!
Grandma and Grandpa were super brave- they took all 4 kids during lunch so Jared and I could eat alone! I don't know about Linken and Grayson, but Tori and Garrett ate much better than they would have for us!!!
After lunch, Grandma and Grandpa took Grayson and Garrett in to explore the toddler area. Jared and I took Linken and Tori to see some of the exhibits for older kids. Linken absolutely loved the climbing wall- he did awesome!
Two very cute beach bums enjoying spring break!!!
The Water Works area was awesome!!!
I really think we could have stayed in this area the entire time and none of the kids would have minded- and that includes Jared!!!
In all innocence, and really just trying to help build a better tube waterway, Daddy soaked Tori from head to toe!
What could be better than drying off while eating some popcorn?!!
The Children's Museum was so fun and a great way to kick off our Houston Venue hopping. Day one of cousin bonding time was a huge success!!!
