During this past week, Tori asked if we could have a sleepover party sometime. Well, last night seemed as good a night as any. So, we pulled out our air mattresses, a whole stack of blankets and pillows, and we were ready to get our party started! Tori and Garrett both claimed the big air mattress and settled in to watch "Despicable Me"- they loved the "mini-uns!!!"
Once the movie ended, we split the kids up and tried to get everyone to go to sleep. It took about a half hour for Garrett to actually lay down- he was having way too much fun jumping from the couch to the air mattress! And then, all of a sudden, everyone was quiet!
So, Garrett is a horrible person to share a bed with! He turned himself sideways, kept kicking, and slept pretty much across both pillows. Combine that with the air mattress being ridiculously cold, even with a sheet, and I didn't get much sleep. See that small empty space next to Garrett on the left side? That's where I got to sleep!
Now, let's take a look at the other pair. One guess as to which adult got more sleep last night!
I would say our sleepover party was a grand success- the kids had a ball! But there are a few things we will change next time- putting many more layers under us, and I get to sleep with Tori!!!
