5 Months!!!

Garrett is 5 months old today! Today it hit me how quickly time is flying by, it seems much faster than when Tori was this little.  I really wish we could slow things down a bit.  Our little G-man has added quite a few things to his repertoire this past month.  He is actually starting to move around a little bit!  When he is on his tummy, he pushes with his knees and toes and can move in the forward direction.  When he is on his back, he now kicks back with his heels and can move in the backwards direction.  He can't go very fast in either direction, but you have to start somewhere!  Garrett is starting to actively look around to find sounds and is much more aware of everything going on around him.  It is so fun watching him discover things around him! For the past week, Garrett has been sleeping through the night - I am really excited about this development!!!  Garrett has discovered the joy of bouncing- this kid has some strong legs already!  And another fun addition- he is starting to figure out how to do raspberries.  I really need to get a video of this one- it is extremely cute.  But, thus far, every time I get out the camera to capture the cuteness he quits doing raspberries and smiles at me!
