The Children's Museum

My brother Willie is getting ready to graduate with his PhD from Georgia Tech- which is just awesome all in itself.  But even more awesome is that he has an interview tomorrow with a university that is only an hour away from our house!  To make things even more fun, Willie and Krista decided to bring the whole family to come visit us while he was interviewing out here.  Since we only have a few days with them, we wanted to introduce them (and Tori and Garrett) to the Children's Museum.  I am happy to report that a grand time was had by all!
They really start you out with a bang at the Children's Museum- the kids found these and were in heaven even before we officially entered! (I think they have the biggest gift shop I have ever seen)
Our first stop was the train exhibit.  Parker, Lincoln, and Henry are huge train fans- and Tori had a great time with the trains, too!
Then we were off to the Mr Potato Head exhibit- Tori loved it so much she even hugged this pillar!
Hurrah for a fun cousin picture- we have Henry, Tori, Parker, and Lincoln! (I don't know what I was thinking, but I totally spaced getting Garrett in the picture- I'll have to do better on that in the future)
Garrett had a fantastic time checking everything out via his view from the stroller!
I think Tori was a little scared of this bear!!!
Tori turned out to be a fantastic seahorse racer- who knew?
The Lego exhibit was so much fun! Tori had a great time racing her cars and climbing on the racetrack!
Tori and Henry are race car drivers at heart!!!
We need to work on where to put our head in these things- but still such a cute picture of Tori and Parker!!!
If we had known what a huge hit the Playscape area was going to be, we probably would have started out there instead of ending there.  The sand area kept Tori and Lincoln especially entertained for quite some time!
Hurrah for yummy apples!!!
And then we came to the huge water table- I think we could have stayed here for several hours!
Tori had a blast, and stayed remarkable dry!
Lincoln, Henry, Tori, and Parker sure do make good fishermen!!!
Check out a little water fun!!!
I love how chill Garrett is!
What a fun day- we will definitely be visiting the Children's Museum again!  I'm so glad that our maiden voyage could include cousins (and an Aunt and Uncle, of course)- it made it that much more special!!!
