This weekend we get to visit our family in Texas! I have been so excited for our trip, except for one part- the flights to and from. This trip marks our first time flying with both kids. Both kids = we are really taking our whole house with us. And then there is the worry of how on earth Jared and I are going to get ourselves, both kids, 2 car seats, and all our gear from the car, on a shuttle, and to the check in desk. Yep, I have been worried! I am pleasantly surprised to report that our first leg (from Indy to Houston) went a million times smoother than I ever could have anticipated. I really think it went so well because of some absolutely amazing, observant, and super helpful airline workers both in Indy and in Houston. We had some niceness come our way from the staff in Fort Worth as well, but they kept telling us this was not their normal policy and not to expect it on any other flight. For some reason that made it seem not so nice. So hurrah, we are in Texas with both of our kids, all of our stuff, and ready to have a fabulous time!!! Let's just hope the return trip goes as smoothly!
We really debated taking the double stroller or not. I'm so glad it came with us- it ended up being a lifesaver! Here we are getting ready to get on the plane!
This was Garrett's first flight ever and Tori's first flight with her very own seat- pretty exciting!!!
Daddy was so nice to share his dinner with Tori! He even cooled off her fries for her!!!
Tori had a blast looking out the windows- what a cutie pie!
Our little lady finally crashed while we were waiting for our luggage to come out in Houston!
Garrett was just as chill as ever- he did awesome on his first flights!!!
We made it to Houston- huzzah!!!
Now on to the fun stuff- having an absolutely fantastic visit with our family!!!
