The Houston Zoo

Our first main event in Texas was a day at the Houston Zoo. Talk about an awesome zoo- we were there for several hours and I'm pretty sure we didn't see everything! While the animals were fun to look at, my favorite part was sharing the day with most of Jared's family! I especially loved watching Tori and Garrett make some awesome memories with grandparents, uncles, an aunt, and cousins- what could be better than that?!!! Here are a few (and yes, it's only a few) of my favorite pictures from the day!

This rooster was crazy- Nikki and I were so afraid he was going to attack us while trying to feed Grayson and Garrett. Luckily, Alec kept chasing him off for us!

Next was the petting zoo area. Tori loved petting all the animals...

and even tried to feed a few of them some rocks!!!

I can just imagine Garrett thinking something along the lines of, "yes, this is awesome!!!"

I have no idea what this building is, but it made for a cute picture of Tori and Alec!

Early in the day, Tori and Grandma saw a random jackrabbit hopping around in the park. Apparently, that rabbit made a huge impression on Tori. Several times throughout the day she would turn to Grandma and say, "bunny hiding, oh no!" These two spent most of the day looking for that missing bunny!!!
