Pageant Time

Before the Nauvoo Pageant began, we were able to participate in a Pioneer Festival- it was so much fun!!!  We got to watch a puppet show and then Jared got to pull Tori, Garrett, and me in a handcart!

 I really like how this one turned out- thanks to the Sister Missionary for taking it for us!!!

 Next, Tori got to make her very own doll!  Daddy was such a trooper for helping her put it together!

The pageant was just absolutely amazing!  Garrett fell asleep soon after it started, which made it nice for me and Jared.  Tori had a ball!  All of the lights on the temple are turned off during the show and she kept looking around saying, "where temple go?"  And then about halfway through, Tori started singing, "the wise man built his house upon the rock!"  Luckily, she was singing pretty quietly at the time!  She loved the end when they turned all of the lights on the temple back on!  All of the singing was awesome and the spirit was just so strong.  We highly recommend attending if you ever get the chance!!!
