Potty Time

Monday evening Tori announced she wanted to wear panties! We were planning on waiting to tackle potty training until all of our trips were over and we were sort of back to a routine, but oh well.  So, Tuesday morning we started potty training (a task I really have been dreading for quite some time!)!!
We started out a bit rough with 3 accidents in a row- I was so frustrated and put a diaper back on.  I left the room, said a little prayer asking for patience, went to apologize to Tori, and then put her panties back on.  I don't know what happened, but something clicked and she had 5 successes in a row!  By the end of the day we had a total of 4 accidents and 8 successes- all pee.  Tori really did such a great job for her first real day of potty training!!!
Day 2 (this morning) started out so much better!  We had several successes before an accident.  All told we had 2 accidents (one poop- I think she is scared to go poop on the potty) and 9 successes!!!  We know there are going to be many more accidents along the way, but Tori is doing great and is really starting to figure this potty thing out!
This has been Tori's setup in the kitchen for the past two days- much easier to clean up if we have an accident!!!

Sorry I didn't take more pictures- it has kind of been all hands on deck around here!  Who knew potty training was so exhausting?  Oh, probably all you other fabulous parents of potty trained kids out there!!!
